"What if..." we truly are alone.

What if we truly are alone in the universe, then what true purpose do all the other solar systems and galaxies hold? Is it just for our mere entertainment because of our own expansive mind and curiosity? If in the future we reached beyond our expectations in space travel and technology and found out that there wasn't anything out there, isn't that too much of a disappointment? What's the point?

Of course I believe in other intelligent beings in the universe, but it's sorta like waking up and noticing that you're the only person alive, you see ghostly figures, and you'll continue to search the globe all your life to find out that there isn't a single soul out there. It's just too much of a depressing thought. Tell me what you think. Is it possible that we're alone? Do you believe we are? I honestly never thought so...

whatever may be we can never truly be alone there has to be something out there but if we truly are alone then may god help us to ake this universe full of life. what if in the end that is our purpose!

My question is, what difference does it make to your life.
If you're going to do something about then search for answer...(this usually where religion comes into play) if not, then let it go, it'll only mess with your head.
